Veronika's specialisation is in consumer appliances. She is an integral part of the central project team, leading research and insights, with particular emphasis on small domestic appliances.
Veronika works in home and technology industries, with a focus new trends and market developments in consumer electronics and consumer appliances. Veronika previously worked for a university research center specialising on the concept of smart cities. Her focus was on participatory and human-centered design (eg for urbanist projects). With a background in sociology, she is skilled in both qualitative research (eg focus groups) and quantitative research (eg surveys), in addition to having deep understanding of methodologies and data analysis.
The major consumer appliances market saw a challenging 2023 in volume sales terms as consumers continued to scale back amid inflation and economic uncertainties. However, industry innovations kept many interested, helping keep the major appliances market healthy in terms of value.
