Indonesia’s Elections Could Improve Business Attractiveness

 

Procter and Gamble and L’Oréal recently expanded into Indonesia but despite attention from foreign investors and companies alike, the country still has basic problems that need to be addressed. A weak infrastructure, a lack of transparency in the government and rising imports are all concerns but these issues could potentially be addressed in July 2014 when the country holds its elections as the new government is expected to put new economic reforms in place.
