Ferrero buys Nestlé’s US Confectionery Business

 

It was recently announced that Ferrero will purchase Nestlé’s US confectionery business. According to Euromonitor, the deal will make Ferrero a bigger competitor in the US, and could result in Ferrero brands having a greater presence in the country, thanks to a wider distribution for Ferrero brands. It will also give the company more bargaining power with retailers.
