Vladislav Savinov, Research Analyst at Euromonitor, discusses corporate strategies in the packaged food and drink industry in Russia. The average annual growth of the packaged food market in 2010 was 10%, making Russia one of the fastest growing markets that year. The non-alcoholic drinks market showed a confident recovery after the crisis, and soft drinks grew by 17% in volume terms in Russia in 2010.
