Although soft drink sales in Sub-Saharan Africa keep up with larger markets such as North America and Western Europe, individual consumption rates are much lower. This is mainly due to the diversity of the region in both population and disposable income. Going forward, the rising middle class in the region will stimulate growth of soft drinks.
