In the last 12 months, the retail sales performance of metal beverage cans has been positive. Product innovations have helped to grow the appeal of the pack type even further. For example, Budweiser released a bow-tie shaped can in the US market as a brand awareness initiative. Coca-Cola released a can in Singapore that twists into two separate cans for sharing.
