The big news this month is sugar prices, which dropped in the intercontinental exchange since the beginning of the year. Output projections from the US Department of Agriculture are higher than normal, especially from Brazil, which is expected to produce 5 million more tonnes than last year. Francisco Redruello, Senior Foods Analyst at Euromonitor, also discusses wheat, corn, cocoa, and skim milk powder prices in this podcast.
