This interactive map explores global diabetes prevalence. Compare historic figures with forecasts for 2030. Click around and zoom in on the map to explore different regions around the world.

These figures show the percentage of the adult population in each country aged between 20 and 79 years with any form of diabetes, both Type 1 and Type 2.

The only countries in the map that are forecast to see a reduction in diabetes prevalence from 2000-2030 are Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Georgia, Pakistan, Sweden and Hong Kong, China.
