Giving Locally and Globally
A key element of our giving strategy is that it should be employee led; we want to help them support the causes that matter to them. In recent month employees in a number offices have been raising funds for local, national and international charities.
In September, employees from our Vilnius office came together to run the Vilnius marathon, raising funds for SOS Children’s Village. Sponsorship from colleagues, friends and family was matched by Euromonitor and will help SOS provide long-term care for orphaned and abandoned children.
October saw Euromonitor’s London office go pink for the day, raising money for Breast Cancer Campaign, a charity which funds research into breast cancer. A lunchtime cake sale, raffle and fiercely fought Euromaster Bake Off, helped raised funds for the charity. A signed Manchester United FC stop, donated by DHL, was also auctioned, helping to take the total donated to over £2,000.
Moustaches were on the rise in November, as 49 employees across five offices participated in the global Movember campaign. Euromonitor participants raised over USD $6,000 for the worldwide men’s health charity.
