In July 2013, Fifa president announced his support for moving the event to the winter to avoid Qatar’s summer heat and the move would be discussed in October. Despite air-conditioned stadiums, officials fear outside conditions for fans. European football leagues have mixed views on the move as it will interrupt their seasons. There is still a slight possibility that the event is hosted by a different country.
