The two-day event filled with lectures and workshops addressed to entrepreneurs in the horticultural industry will be held in stationary mode already on 6-7 October 2020 on MTP Poznan EXPO fairgrounds. It will bring together experts in marketing, trade, sales and the wider horticultural industry. Speakers will talk, among others, about a new look at the industry, and effective methods of sales and business in times of crisis. Among the speakers, there will be world-renowned experts from Poland and abroad.



Session title: New trends in gardening in Europe amid COVID-19 pandemic. What makes CEE markets stand out?

Session description: The situation in the European gardening markets differs significantly from one case to another. With historical, social and economic factors shaping the gardening markets unevenly, it is crucial to understand the trends which emerge on national and regional levels. In the advent of COVID-19, the businesses’ need for understanding those trends is more pressing than ever. Building the analysis on decades’ worth of Euromonitor International research we will describe the market situation in Europe, point to the most important trends in gardening and outline the characteristics which make CEE markets unique in the European gardening space. We will also attempt to define the path forward for the market, accounting for the COVID-19 impact.
