Mexico has the second biggest consumer market in Latin America (after Brazil), and the share of consumer expenditure in its economy has been increasing during the 2011-2016 period. Real GDP growth will, however, slow in 2017 and growth of private consumption will also slump as a result of economic uncertainties and rising inflation. Utilizing Euromonitor International’s unique analytical tools, we will offer the audience an in-depth analysis of Mexico’s consumer market. We will examine the distribution, income levels and spending patterns of key consumer groups, from high-income earners and urban consumers through to the middle class and those at the bottom of the pyramid.
