Session title: The new shape of luxury
Session description: Consumer activism, behavioral changes and technology are forcing luxury companies to re-think their business models. It is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with competitors and consumers’ dependence on online and mobile devices. Luxury brands are understanding that digital is the lens through which consumers make their decisions and remains the gateway to the world economy. Demand for greater personalization and sustainability is growing as is the need to create emotional and empathetic connections whilst also providing exclusive experiences that money can’t buy.
In this presentation Euromonitor International will explore how these factors are reshaping the way that luxury companies do business to provide a seamless customer service whilst maintaining the human factor.
Session date and time: Monday, 30 September at 9 AM BRT
Speaker name: Fflur Roberts, Industry Manager Luxury Goods
