Session description: The emergence of the global pandemic has boosted consumer interest in being healthy. As a result, demand for plant-based diets and targeted functionality as a key component of wellbeing have been expedited. Among all, immunity has been one of the biggest concerns during the COVID-19 health crisis. Demand for ingredients targeted at certain need states (sleep, relax, calm) has also been accelerated. This presentation will give an overview of the increased interest in preventative health and opportunities moving forward.
