Session title: Meat substitutes, how is this market now and what to expect in the future?

Session description: The future of meat is under scrutiny, perhaps like never before. Consumers are questioning both meat’s sustainability and health credentials, especially in the context of a global pandemic, and the new wave of plant-based substitutes has resonated strongly with what people are looking for. With continued and growing inroads into key meat-eating markets across the world, the future looks promising for meat alternatives as what we eat as meat develops beyond straightforward livestock-derived products.

Session date and time: Monday, 27 July at 10:00am BRT

Speaker: Tom Rees, Industry Manager – Food and Nutrition, Euromonitor International
