Event: TTG Incontri
Location: Rimini Fiera (Italy)
Date: 8th October 2015
Event Description: TTG Incontri, now at its 52nd edition, is the largest tourist trade fair in Italy and one of the top five Europe. The event is held at Rimini Fiera, along with the leading International Hospitality Exhibition SIA Guest and SUN, the key international exhibition for the outdoor product sector. Over 60,000 trade key travel players are expected from all over the world.
Presentation Description: Global tourist arrivals grew by over 4% in 2014 and are expected to record an even stronger performance in 2015. Continuous growth in global tourism flows results in positive expectations across all travel sectors, including airlines, rail, hotels, private rentals, cruise, car rental and travel intermediaries. However, technology developments, and in particular the rise of the online and mobile channels, are significantly affecting consumer expectations and competitive dynamics forcing companies to review and change their business models to stay competitive. In this presentation, Angelo Rossini, Online Travel Analyst at Euromonitor International, will analyse the main trends driving change in the travel industry today. Euromonitor International’s research will help to answer questions such as how are travel consumer demands changing and how should travel companies adapt their business models to be successful.
