Kiana Ashtiani joined Euromonitor in 2017 as the Global Survey Consultant based in Chicago. As the Senior Global Consultant specializing in Consumer Insights, Kiana oversees the standardization of the survey methodology as well as any consumer-facing methods across global projects, working with consultants and clients to provide high-quality insights from these methods. Since joining Euromonitor International, Kiana has consulted on numerous research projects across various industries with a custom survey component throughout Euromonitor’s global offices. Kiana has facilitated the use of consumer insights with trade insights to inform a holistic approach in answering complex client questions. Before joining Euromonitor, Kiana began her career in survey methodology and research design at the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago as a Survey Specialist. In this role, Kiana co-managed several national and longitudinal research studies funded by several U.S. federal clients focusing on consumer labour and expenditures. She has also co-written several survey methodology papers and presentations for academic conferences. Kiana holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago and is fluent in Farsi.
