After four years of industry specific research across sub-Saharan Africa as a Senior Analyst, Jacques transferred to the London office at the end of 2021. Here he uses his expertise in a Consultant role in consumer research and insights. He continues to explore new and innovative ways to share and discuss the latest consumer insights, both internally to colleagues and externally to clients.

Expertise

Starting his career as an Associate Analyst at Euromonitor in Cape Town in 2017, Jacques focused on Home and Tech industries in South Africa, which soon expanded into the rest of sub-Saharan Africa, with his research extending to drinks and tobacco. Focusing on emerging market characteristics, Jacques played an integral role in guiding clients and companies through the latest developments within this dynamic region. Before joining Euromonitor, Jacques was involved with managing online communities for the B2B sector, by creating thought provoking content for a range of audiences. Both then and now, his aim has always been to generate conversation, and create consumer engagement for every topic and strategic theme in his remit.
