Home and Garden Market Growing Online in Sweden

August 2nd, 2016

The home and garden market is one of the fastest growing markets within online sales in Sweden in both 2015 and at the beginning of 2016. This growth is due to a high performance of the category in general, but Swedish consumers often have larger packages delivered to their homes as well. One successful product that contributed to this growth was an online building planer launched by Byggmax. Using this tool, consumers can design building projects, obtain blueprints and take the project on themselves or hire Byggmax carpenters all through an internet-connected device. Home improvement is estimated to make up at least 8 percent of retailing internet sales at the end of the forecast period.
