B2B services that cater to institutional channels will continue to consolidate in 2016, both in terms of supply-chain rationalization and simply providing a full suite of professional services. This consolidation is born out of price cutting measures – multinational companies can obviously compete on price due to their scale, and in some cases these companies have become vertically integrated to help cut prices as well. Local players may very well be consolidated into larger companies in the institutional channels space, or squeezed out of the market altogether.
