    A recent study released by The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3 found many developed countries with below recommended daily intake levels of Omega-3. Although Omega-3 supplements and packaged food and drinks containing Omega-3 are worth US$30 billion worldwide, opportunities for growth still exist as the demand for the fatty acids grows. One such opportunity lies in the aging population, as older consumers can benefit from the health opportunities offered by Omega-3.
