Yum! Brands recently announced negative expectations for comparable store sales growth in China in its fourth quarter 2012, causing the stock price to drop 10%. While the negative growth is partly due to country-wide issues, Elizabeth Friend, Consumer Foodservice Research Analyst at Euromonitor, states that Yum! should look to expand to new, smaller markets in China.
