2017 m. gegužę alkoholiniams gėrimams Lietuvoje buvo padidintas akcizas. Šie pasikeitimai lems didesnį, negu buvo laukta, rinkos kritimą. Rinkos analitikės Julijos Poliščiuk teigimu, padidintas akcizas alkoholiniams gėrimams paskatins pirkėjus daugiau alkoholio įsigyti kaimyninėse šalyse bei padidins nelegalaus alkoholio pardavimų mastą.
