Ginger Ale Growth shows Success for Full-Sugar Carbonates is Possible

At a time when carbonates sales are slumping in many markets worldwide, ginger ale volumes are on the increase. The category has been able to insulate itself against many trends that are having a negative effect on carbonates overall by taking advantage its potential as a cocktail mixer. While ginger ale is only a minor sub-category of carbonates overall, its success shows that growth is still possible for full-sugar carbonates if brands can understand the changing needs of consumers.
