The economic crisis in Brazil directly effected the luxury industry in Brazil making even the most resilient consumers become more conservative with their purchases. As a result, the luxury industry had its weakest growth performance of the last 10 years. In the same period, many international brands that have entered the market recently shut down their stores and have left the country.
