Sustainability is arguably the hottest consumer trend right now, crossing both income and cultural divides. In order to compete in tomorrow’s market, businesses should adapt sustainable practices across the value chain. Sarah Boumphrey, Head of Countries and Consumers Research at Euromonitor International, states that the food and drink sector should be at the forefront of this drive. Walkers, a PepsiCo brand, and Nestlé are two examples of companies in this sector embracing sustainability.
