Strong Global Retail Growth in 2012

It may be a surprise, but 2012 was the fastest growing year for retailing since 1999. There is some inflation to be taken into account, but emerging markets are performing well, including China, which has seen a 10% growth in its retailing market in 2012. Internet retailing contributed to global growth as the fastest growing channel and grew 20% globally in 2012.
