Ritorno alle origini: gli italiani rispondono alla crisi

La crisi economica ha avuto un impatto sulle abitudini enogastronomiche degli italiani. Mentre si rileva un calo delle presenze in bar e ristoranti, Euromonitor International registra un aumento delle vendite di ingredienti ed utensili utilizzati per la preparazione di cibi in casa, come il burro e le macchine per il caffè, a discapito di alimenti confezionati come merendine ed omogeneizzati. Mara Magro, analista per l’Italia presso Euromonitor International, spiega che, in questo momento difficile per l’economia, la tradizione sostiene gli italiani, che stanno riscoprendo i risvolti positivi dell’home made, sia in termini economici che sulla salute della famiglia.
