Corn continues to be the subject of the soft commodities market this month, with a decline of 6 percent in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Francisco Redruello, Senior Food Analyst at Euromonitor, states that rain in late September has helped prospects in the United States, but other countries have seen the unproductive year in the US as a chance to undercut prices and sell their own stock. Redruello also focuses on prices and future prospects for cocoa, sugar, and grain.
