The Development of Monodose Formats in North American Home Care

Tide Pods have paved the way for the monodose format in laundry care in North America, states Ian Bell, Head of Home Care Research at Euromonitor. The introduction of Tide Pods was a timely one in the laundry market, with flat sales in recent years. However, it will take more than novelty to get consumers to switch from liquid or powder detergent, as those detergent formats are well established in North America.
