Follow-up: John Lewis experiencing Growth due to Olympic Games

In his recent videocast, Lamine Lahouasnia, retailing analyst at Euromonitor, stated retailer John Lewis would be the 'gold medal' winner in terms of sales. John Lewis has recently released sales data for the first week of the games, and the department store has seen 22% sales growth during that period.  Other retailers in London have not been so lucky - many tourists are avoiding the town all together in fear of high traffic and congestion.
