The Eurozone debt crisis continued to hamper growth in the soft commodities market in June 2012, states Euromonitor International's senior food analyst, Francisco Redruello. Paired with extreme heat conditions in the Midwestern United states, Western Europe, and the Baltic region, soft commodities saw a decline as investors sought out more stable markets.
