The Global Pet Care Market in 2012

The global pet care market is growing, states Paula Flores, head of global pet care research at Euromonitor International. A highlight from 2012 is the growth in sales of pet food and pet care products in emerging markets, with countries like Argentina expecting a 23 percent growth in the industry this year. Mexico has entered the top ten markets for pet food sales in 2012, reinforcing the importance of emerging markets to the pet care industry.
