President Obama Signs Tourism Bill

On January 19, 2012, President Obama signed an executive order allowing a task force to create a national tourism strategy in the US. Michelle Grant, travel and tourism industry research manager at Euromonitor, explains the strategy that will be set forth by this bill. The task force will promote national parks, speed up the visa process, and market the US as a destination abroad. Grant discusses the positive effects that the bill has, and the steps that need to be taken for the US to promote itself as an international tourism destination.

I think that this bill would be beneficial only if the amount is spent on right places and in right direction but unfortunately this is not happening in Obama's era.
