Hear Euromonitor Speak at PETnology

PETnology logo Euromonitor International is pleased to be speaking at PETnology 2011, November 7-8, 2011, in Nuremberg, Germany.

The topics presented and discussed at the 14th PETnology Europe conference will be just as versatile as the packaging applications themselves. PET remains the packaging material of the future, even though the requirements of the food and drink industry on the material itself and on the bottles and packaging produced from it are steadily rising. Sustainability has become the talk of the industry. This is why many companies along the value-added chain have been looking into recycled PET and its possible applications. Even though it has already been proven that recycled PET is a favourable packaging raw material in terms of processing characteristics, purity and efficiency, there are still a lot of unanswered questions. To help answer these, several presentations and the accompanying technical exhibition will address and explain the topic.

Regina Maiseviciute, Packaging Industry Analyst at Euromonitor International, will provide insight into global and European trends for the PET packaging sector.  She will explore where the greatest avenues of growth for PET bottles are as well as outline key categories and countries that will generate growth. Also, Maiseviciute will highlight the pressures on forecast growth in order to present a complete view of current and future movements for PET in the retail channel.
