All Eyes on Nokia After Apple Record Earnings

Keyboard_cellphone Apple Inc posted stellar quarterly results, with revenue and net profits 82% and 125% higher than last year’s corresponding quarter results. International sales accounted for 62% of their quarterly revenue. This Friday (22 July), Nokia will be releasing its financial results and pressure is mounting on the Finnish mobile phone giant to post some good tidings. With the recent price cuts on its mobile phones in Europe, Nokia is probably not expected to report improved margins. However, it is expected that Nokia would register improved revenues (compared to the previous quarter) and overhead savings due to its restructuring.
